North Providence Man Wins Big on Keno Plus… Again!

A North Providence man claimed a $13,000 winning Keno Plus ticket this morning.  It’s not the first time the winner has been to the Lottery to collect a big Keno win.  He won $90,000 playing Keno Plus in 2005!

The winner has five children, who each received some money when he first won the $90 grand.  This time, however, he said the money has to go to paying medical bills.

On a whim, the winner decided to play a few games of Keno before leaving Cricket’s Restaurant on Washington Highway in Smithfield.   He placed a two dollar wager on an eight spot bet and matched seven of the eight numbers.  The standard payout for this type of win is $1,300.  However, he opted to double his wager and purchased Keno Plus, so the $1,300 prize was multiplied by ten, that draw’s Keno Plus number, to equal $13,000.
