$10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket from December Claimed $10,000 PowerBall® Winning Ticket Expires April 3
After sitting in a truck for more than 3 months, the $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket from the December 22 drawing was claimed by a North Kingstown woman. The winner said she simply forgot about the four quick pick tickets and didn’t check them until this week.
Her ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. She did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If she had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by two, the Power Play® number for that draw, to equal $20,000.
The winning ticket was purchased from Luk Oil at 3333 South County Trail, East Greenwich. The winner plans to first buy her son a guitar for his birthday and then put the rest of the money away for the future.
The $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket about to expire on April 3 still remains unclaimed! The lucky numbers for that drawing were 10 15 31 52 59 and the PowerBall® number was 4. Players should check their tickets and call the Rhode Island Lottery immediately if they’re the lucky owner of that missing ticket.
