So far, one big Daily Numbers winner has come forward. He played a $1 wager on a two 4-digit straight tickets, which totaled $10,000. The Pascoag man purchased the tickets at Brigido’s Fresh Market on Sayles Avenue in Pascoag.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
There were also two big Instant Tickets winners over the weekend. A Warwick gentleman claimed a $35,000 Imperial Riches winning Ticket he purchased at Sam’s Food Store on Main Avenue in Warwick while a man from Cranston claimed $20,000 from a Black Diamonds Instant Ticket he purchased at Hess Express on Plainfield Pike in Johnston.
Finally, a $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms on Smith Street in North Providence. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 3, Saturday night’s Power Play® number, to equal $30,000. The winning ticket has yet to be claimed.
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $48 million.
