$200,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island

A $200,000 winning ticket was sold in Rhode Island for last night’s $113.6 million PowerBall® drawing.  The ticket matched five numbers but not the PowerBall® number. The player did not opt to purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If he had, his winnings would have been multiplied by five, no matter what PowerPlay® number was drawn, to equal $1,000,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hess Express at 1820 Boston Neck Road in North Kingstown.  The $200,000 prize has yet to be claimed.

Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $133 million and Friday’s estimated Mega Millions jackpot is $74 million.
