$10,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island
Red Sox® Spring Training™ Trip Claimed

A $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Saturday night’s drawing.  The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, Saturday’s Power Play® number, to equal $40,000.

The winning ticket was purchased from I.M. Gan Liquors at 680 Warwick Ave., Warwick.  The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.

Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $37 million.

The Red Sox Spring Training Trip winner from the most recent drawing didn’t wait long to come in and claim his prize.  Calvin Jones of Lincoln was talking to his girlfriend about their next vacation when he got the call saying he was a winner.  Now the couple will be going to Fort Myers next year for the 2012 Red Sox® Spring Training™.  The trip includes airfare, hotel, car rental, $1,000 spending money, tickets to 2 games and other festivities.  There are 3 more drawings coming up to pick 1 Spring Training™ trip winner and 33 merchandise prize packs.
