$157,371 Wild Money Ticket Claimed $20,000 “Slingo Gold” & $10,000 PowerBall® Winners
The $157,371 jackpot from Tuesday’s Wild Money drawing was claimed by a gentleman from Portsmouth. He was shaking as he was filling out the paperwork required. This is actually the second time he’s won big. About 20 years ago, he won $750,000 playing Lot-O-Bucks! He plans on giving the money to his wife. Elaine’s Country Store in Tiverton sold the winning ticket.
Additionally, a $20,000 “Slingo Gold” Instant Ticket was claimed by a couple from North Stonington, Connecticut. They plan on using the money towards their daughter’s college tuition at Johnson & Wales. The winning ticket was from Hopkinton Liquor Depot in Ashaway.
The $10,000 winning PowerBall® Ticket from last Saturday’s drawing was claimed by a 23-year-old woman from Johnston. She plays only on occasion and was very glad she did since her college loans are about to kick in from Lincoln Tech. The winning ticket was sold from the Cumberland Farms on Post Road in Warwick.
The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. Tonight’s estimated jackpot is $20,000.
Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $105 million.
