Daily Numbers Paid Out 193% Last Night
$10,000 PowerBall® Ticket Claimed by Group of Six
Yesterday’s Daily Numbers drawing paid out 193%. The Rhode Island Lottery awarded $129,895 worth of prizes, while taking in $66,983 in net sales. There were a total of 21 tickets sold with a prize value of $2,708 and 211 tickets with a prize of $208. The popular winning combination drawn was 2 4 1 1.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
There was also a $10,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island for last night’s PowerBall® drawing. A group of six coworkers that have been playing together for years claimed the winning ticket this morning. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The players did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If they had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 5, last night’s Power Play® number, to equal $50,000.
The winning ticket was purchased from Dave’s Marketplace at 105 Gate Rd, North Kingstown.
Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $148 million.
