Christmas Winners for Mega Millions®, PowerBall® and Instant Games
Four lucky Rhode Islanders received Christmas surprises over the weekend.
Mega Millions® There were three $10,000 winning tickets sold in Rhode Island for Friday night's drawing. Each ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the standard payout of $10,000. None of the players opted for the Megaplier option, which would have cost an additional dollar. If the winners had added the Megaplier feature, the prize would have been multiplied by four, Friday's Megaplier number, to equal $40,000. None of these winners have come forward yet.
The winning tickets were sold from:
Li'l General 556 Central Ave. Pawtucket |
Kingston Convenience Mart 2360 Kingstown Rd. Kingstown
|
Diamond Hill General 3782 Diamond Hill Rd. Cumberland
|
Tonight's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $206 million.
PowerBall® There was also a $10,000 winning ticket sold for Saturday night's PowerBall® drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. This winner did not select the Power Play® feature. If the player did include the PowerPlay®, the $10,000 prize would have become $20,000 since the 2 multiplier was drawn. The winner purchased the ticket from Cumberland Farms at 3400 Mendon Rd., Cumberland and has not yet claimed the ticket.
Tomorrow's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $20 million.
Instant Games A Warwick man who enjoys playing poker won $100,000 on the World Series of Poker Instant Ticket. He bought the ticket at Sam's Food Store at 885 Post Rd., Warwick.
