$69,351 Winning Wild Money Winner

While the PowerBall® jackpot and the $10,000 PowerBall® winners remain unknown, the Wild Money winner has come forward.  The $69,351.30 jackpot hit on Saturday, February 11, was claimed today by a man from Douglas, MA.  He bought the ticket at Brigido's Fresh Market on Sayles Avenue in North Scituate.  He plans to use the money to pay off the rest of his mortgage and maybe buy a new car. 

Wild Money is a progressive jackpot game offered only in Rhode Island.  The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.   Tonight's estimated Wild Money jackpot is $22,000.

The winner for the Million Dollar Raffle 2nd Chance Extravaganza, Dianne Thomas, has also claimed her $10,000 prize.  She was one of the 40 participants randomly selected on January 23 to attend the 2nd Chance Extravaganza on February 10.  Thomas was randomly selected to play a game for the chance to win $5,000, $10,000 or $100,000 by matching five like prize amounts.  The first five amounts matched were for $10,000.  Thomas was thrilled to walk away with that, and plans on using the money to take a vacation with her husband.
