$10,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island

A $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Saturday's drawing.  The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. The Power Play® feature now offers fixed prize amounts for players, so the $10,000 prize would have turned into $40,000.   

The winning ticket was purchased from Rite Aid at 1201 Warwick Avenue in Warwick.  The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.

The $336,400,000 PowerBall® jackpot win and the $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket from the February 11 drawing remains unclaimed.

Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $60 million.
