$27,063 Wild Money Jackpot Hit $10,000 PowerBall® Ticket Claimed
The jackpot for Rhode Island’s own progressive jackpot game, Wild Money, was hit last night for $27,063. This is the second jackpot win on the game in less than two weeks.
The winning ticket was purchased at A T Casali Liquors on Cranston Street in Cranston. The prize has yet to be claimed. The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.
Rhode Island's PowerBall® jackpot winner still has not come forward, but a Warwick man claimed a $10,000 winning ticket from the February 18 drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, the $10,000 prize would have increased to $40,000.
Rite Aid on Warwick Avenue in Warwick sold the winning ticket.
Tonight's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $60 million.
