$65,000 Instant Win
Plus $10,000 Mega Millions® Winner in Rhode Island

A Johnston man claimed a $65,000 top prize on the Platinum Card Instant Game.  He came in with his mother and grandmother after first taking them out to breakfast to celebrate his win.  He doesn't have any plans for the money yet.  Fast Freddie's Smithfield on Putnam Pike in Greenville sold the winning ticket. 

There was a $10,000 winning Mega Millions® ticket sold in Rhode Island for Friday night’s drawing.  The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for Megaplier®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 3, Friday's Megaplier® number, to equal $30,000.

The winning ticket was purchased from I.M. Gan Discount Liquors on Warwick Avenue in Warwick.  The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.

Tomorrow's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $241million.
