$10,000 Mega Millions® & Daily Numbers Winners in Rhode Island

A man from Pawtucket claimed the $10,000 winning Mega Millions® ticket from the drawing on Friday the 13th.  He bought the quick pick ticket from Perry's Liquor at 240 Columbus Ave., Pawtucket and plans to use the winnings for home repairs.  The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If he had opted for the Megaplier®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, the Megaplier® number for that draw, to equal $40,000.

Friday’s estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $65 million.

A man from West Warwick also left Lottery Headquarters with $10,000.  He won $5,000 each on two separate Daily Numbers tickets after playing the four-digit straight bet on the lucky number 0 1 6 5.  Cumberland Farms at 278 Cowesett Avenue and Centerville Liquors at 287 Legris Avenue, West Warwick, both sold a winning ticket.
