First $25,000 Lucky For Life Winner in Rhode Island $10,000 Mega Millions Winning Ticket Claimed
Last night's Lucky for Life drawing resulted in a $25,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island. There were also 7,588 other winning tickets in Rhode Island, which adds on to the total of 147,977 winning Lucky for Life tickets sold in the Ocean State since the game began.
The $25,000 winning ticket matched five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball number. The Mobil at 10 East Ave., Westerly sold the winning ticket, which has not yet been claimed. The $10,000 Mega Millions® winning ticket from the April 20th drawing has been claimed by a man from Smithfield who wants to use the money for a car. The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $10,000 payout. If he had opted for the Megaplier® option for an extra $1 on the wager, the prize would have been multiplied by three, the Megaplier® number from that draw, to equal $30,000.
The winning ticket was sold from Stop & Shop at 446 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Tonight's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is at $88 million.
