25,000 Lucky For Life Ticket Claimed

Since the Lucky for Life game went on sale in the six New England states, it has certainly proved to be lucky.  There have been three top prize winners of $1,000 a day for life, two from Connecticut and one from Massachusetts.  Rhode Island also had a Westerly man win the second place prize of $25,000 in the April 26 drawing.  That winner claimed his prize today after waiting more than a week to even check his ticket.  His ticket matched five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball number.  The Mobil at 10 East Ave., Westerly, sold the winning ticket.  There have also been 18 $2,000 winners in Rhode Island and a total of 166,080 winning Lucky for Life tickets sold here since the game launched March 11.
