$10,000 Mega Millions® Winner in Rhode Island

Although last night's $25 million Mega Millions®  jackpot was hit in California, there was still a $10,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island.  The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for the Megaplier®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by four, last night's Megaplier® number, to equal $40,000.

The winning ticket was purchased from AJ's Variety at 1031 Plainfield St., Johnston.  The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.  There were also seven $600 winning tickets from last night's drawing to be claimed. 

Friday's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $12 million.
