$10,000 Mega Millions® Ticket Claimed
The $10,000 Mega Millions® winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing has been claimed by a man from Cranston. He came in to the Lottery office with his wife to cash in his quick pick ticket. He still has not made any plans for how he will spend the money. The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $10,000 standard payout. He did not add the Megaplier® option for an extra $1 on the wager. If he had, the prize would have been multiplied by two, Tuesday's Megaplier® number, to equal $20,000.
Shaw's Supermarket at 8 Chapel View Blvd., Cranston sold the winning ticket. The other $10,000 winning ticket from Tuesday's drawing has not been claimed. Manville Road General at 37 Manville Rd., Woonsocket, sold that unclaimed ticket.
Tonight's estimated Mega Millions jackpot is $24 million.
