$10,000 Mega Millions® Ticket Claimed

The $10,000 Mega Millions® winning ticket from the May 22 drawing has been claimed by a Woonsocket man.  He said he is undergoing knee surgery soon and will be out of work for a few months, so the money will certainly help with bills.  His ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $10,000 standard payout.  He did not add the Megaplier® option for an extra $1 on the wager.  If he had, the prize would have been multiplied by two, the Megaplier® number from that drawing, to equal $20,000.   

Manville Road General at 37 Manville Rd., Woonsocket, sold the winning ticket.

Tonight's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $12 million.  Tomorrow's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $164 million.
