$30,000 & $15,000 Instant Tickets Claimed

A $30,000 winning "Lucky Loot" Instant Ticket was claimed by Wendy Alvarez of Central Falls (photo with sister-in-law shown).  The winner's mother also accompanied her to the Lottery, since according to Alvarez, she was her lucky charm because she encouraged her to buy the ticket and was also present when she found out she won.   Alvarez said that she is a single mom so this money will help pay for her daughter to go to college some day and will also go towards a down payment on a house. 

Central Warehouse Liquor, 1060 Broad St., Central Falls, sold the winning ticket. 

 In addition, a woman from Cranston claimed the final $15,000 top prize from the "Bank On It" Instant Ticket.  She said she would put the money in the bank for now.  The lucky ticket was bought from Cumberland Farms at 921 Cranston St., Cranston.
