$180,599 Wild Money Jackpot Claimed Two $20,000 Lucky Times 20 Winning Tickets
The $180,599 Wild Money jackpot from Saturday night was claimed today by an East Providence man. He was accompanied by his wife and his son, who had just won $1,000 on an Instant Ticket on Friday. The winner said he would like to take his wife of 35 years on vacation, but other than that he's not sure how he'll spend the winnings. Broadway Mart at 1049 South Broadway, East Providence, sold the winning quick pick ticket.
The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.
Tuesday's estimated Wild Money jackpot is $20,000.
In addition, there were two Lucky Times 20 Instant Tickets winning $20,000 claimed. A Narragansett man cashed in the ticket he bought on Sunday from Healy News Store in Wakefield. He said he'll use the money to fix the brakes on his car, get a new computer for his wife, and then put the rest into certificates of deposit.
A man from Assonet, Mass., was on his way home when his landlord called and said the driveway was being paved so don't come home until after 5. In order to kill time, the winner stopped at the 7-Eleven on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston and bought the Lucky Times 20 Instant Ticket. He realized he won $20,000 so he made another stop at the Lottery Headquarters to claim his prize. Since he had only won the prize five minutes earlier, he hadn't had a chance to figure out how he'll use the money.
There are still 48 more top prizes of $20,000 to be claimed in this Instant Game!
