$40,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Winner in Rhode Island

The jackpot for last night’s PowerBall® drawing was not hit, so it has climbed to $253 million for Saturday night.  The drawing did however make one Rhode Island Lottery player $40,000 richer.  The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  However, the winner added the Power Play® feature for an extra dollar which increased the prize to $40,000.

Colbea Enterprises at 457 Benefit St., Providence, sold the winning ticket.  The $40,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
