PowerBall® Jackpot Raised to $320 Million
Due to high sales, tomorrow's estimated PowerBall® jackpot has been raised to $320 million annuity, making it the 4th largest PowerBall® jackpot in the history of the game. If the winner chooses the cash option, the lump sum payment will be $213.3 million.
This is also the second largest jackpot amount since the PowerBall® game changed on January 15. The record $336.4 million jackpot was won on February 11 by a ticket sold in Newport, RI. There have been 14 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner since the current run started on June 27, 2012.
The Power Play® option is still available for an extra $1 per play. Instead of randomly multiplying prizes by two to five times, Power Play® now moves each prize level up by a set amount. The top prize of $1 million is doubled to $2 million and the $10,000 prize quadruples to $40,000. All other prizes are also increased.
All players should sign the back of their tickets immediately upon purchase and put them in a safe place. The tickets are the only claim to a prize.
