$100,000 & $20,000 Instant Win $25,000 Lucky for Life Ticket Claimed
A Johnston man cashed in a $100,000 winning "Pinball Wizard" Instant Ticket that he bought Friday night at LC Mart on Nooseneck Hill Road in Exeter. He said his luck didn't run out with that ticket, and he won an additional $130 on the other tickets he bought that night. The winner plans to use the money to check things off his bucket list, such as go on a cruise in the Panama Canal.
A $20,000 Instant Ticket was also claimed by a Warwick man. He bought the "Lucky Times 20" Instant Game from On the Fly Convenience on Post Road in Warwick. He said the timing was perfect because he and his wife just found out they're having another baby last weekend. He also said he'll be able to use the money to pay off the rest of his car loan. There are still 45 more top prizes of $20,000 in the "Lucky Times 20" Instant Game to be claimed.
The $25,000 winning Lucky for Life ticket from the August 23 drawing was also claimed today. A man from Peacedale cashed in the ticket he bought at Rose Hill Golf Club in South Kingstown. He said he picked his own numbers to play using the birthdates of his three children, with whom he will also share his winnings. His ticket matched five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball number, to win the $25,000 prize. In addition to sharing the money with family, the winner said he has a wedding to go to in Las Vegas next year, so he'll set money aside to cover those expenses as well.
