$30,000 2nd Chance "Wheel of Fortune" Instant Ticket Winner

Wheel of Fortune 2nd Chance winnerDavid Mottram of Exeter claimed $30,000 from the "Wheel of Fortune" Instant Ticket 2nd chance drawing that took place on August 21. His wife had been entering all of their non-winning tickets for the 2nd chance prize. Rhode Island Lottery players can enter the serial numbers of specified non-winning tickets on Rhody Replay, an exclusive feature of Rhode Island Lottery's website, where VIP members get a 2nd chance at winning prizes. Mr. and Mrs. Mottram never thought they would win, however, and were still in shock after they were handed the check. First thing David plans to do is pay bills.  His wife would like to go on a vacation or at the very least, out to dinner tonight!

LC Mart on Nooseneck Hill Rd., Exeter sold the winning 2nd chance ticket. The same store also sold a winning $100,000 "Pinball Wizard" Instant Ticket, claimed this week.
