$10,000 Mega Millions® Winner in Rhode Island

A $10,000 winning ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Friday night’s $12,000,000 Mega Millions® drawing.  The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for Megaplier®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by four, Friday's Megaplier® number, to equal $40,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gulf Express, 852 Park Ave., Woonsocket.  The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.

Tuesday’s estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $15 million.
