$40,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Winner

Last night's PowerBall® drawing resulted in a $40,000 winner in Rhode Island.

The winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000. However, the winner added the Power Play® feature for an extra dollar which increased the prize to $40,000. The prize has yet to be claimed.

Convenience Plus at 1501 Atwood Ave., Johnston sold the $40,000 winning ticket.

Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is at $80 million.
