Halloween Treats for Daily Numbers Players
$30,000 Instant Ticket winner

Trick-or-treaters weren't the only ones to hit the "jackpot" last night, as Rhode Island Lottery Daily Numbers players won some treats too!  Last night's Daily Numbers drawing paid out 114% with the winning number combination 3 2 0 9.  The Rhode Island Lottery awarded $69,833 worth of prizes, while taking in $60,814.50 in net sales.  There were a total of 10 tickets sold with a prize value of $2,604 and 63 tickets with a prize of $250. 

A Cranston man cashed in three $5,000 winning tickets to walk away with $15,000 after playing three $1 four-digit wagers. He bought his tickets at AJ Casali Liquors at 1776B Cranston St., Cranston, and plans to use the money to pay bills.

Not long after, a Coventry man cashed in a Daily Numbers ticket worth $15,624.  He played the $1 four-digit combo bet three times on the same ticket.  The winner said he always plays 3 2 0 9, as it has a special meaning for him and his friends. Cumberland Farms at 436 Knotty Oak Rd., Coventry sold that ticket.

In addition, Hurricane Sandy has blown in a big Rhode Island Lottery winner! A winning $30,000 "Lucky Loot" Instant Ticket has been claimed by a woman from Cranston.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hess Express, 305 Phenix Ave., Cranston.
