Lucky for Life's Lucky Ones $10,000 PowerBall® Winner
The $25,000 Lucky for Life® ticket from last Thursday's drawing has been claimed by a man from North Providence. He opted to purchase a $2 Lucky for Life® Quick Pick and was very excited when he ended up matching five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball, for the $25,000 win. He plans to pay bills.
He purchased the winning ticket at Knights of Columbus, 15 Bassett St., North Providence.
Additionally, there was a $2,000 winning Lucky for Life® ticket sold from Warwick Shell, 2211 West Shore Rd., Warwick. The ticket has yet to be claimed.
Saturday's $126 million PowerBall® drawing resulted in a $10,000 winner. The ticket was just claimed by man from Johnston. He matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. He did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Colbea Enterprises, 525 Killingly St., Johnston.
Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $143 million. Drawings are at 10:59pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Lucky for Life® Drawings take place at 10:38pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
