$87,724 Wild Money Ticket Claimed $25,000 Lucky for Life® & $10,000 PowerBall® Winners
The $87,724 jackpot from the November 22 Wild Money drawing has been claimed by a gentleman from Hope, Rhode Island. He plans to renovate his house with new windows and siding. He also plans to buy a new car to replace his 1993 Buick! Cumberland Farms at 436 Knotty Oak Road in Coventry sold the winning ticket.
The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI 12 at 7:29pm. Saturday's estimated jackpot is $26,000
Additionally, a gentleman from Cranston just checked his Lucky for Life® ticket, also from the November 22 drawing, and discovered it was the winning $25,000 ticket he purchased from Discount Liquor Shop at 1294 Park Avenue in Cranston. His ticket matched five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball, for the $25,000 win. He didn't think he won anything so he didn't bother to check his ticket until last night. He plans to pay bills and have a nice Christmas.
Lucky for Life® drawings take place at 10:38pm on Monday and Thursday.
Finally, a gentleman from North Kingstown claimed a winning $10,000 PowerBall® Quick Pick ticket from Wednesday's huge $587.5 million jackpot. He said he was going to learn how to fly and buy a jet if he had hit the big jackpot. His ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000. He did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms at 3323 South County Trail in East Greenwich. There are still two more $10,000 prizes and one $40,000 prize unclaimed from Wednesday's drawing.
PowerBall® drawings are at 10:59pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays and aired locally on WPRI 12. Saturday's estimated jackpot is $40 million.
