'Tis the Season of Winners

As December rolls in, so are the winners!  A gentleman from Greenville cashed in a winning $35,000 'Tis the Season Instant Ticket. He plans to use the money towards Christmas gifts.  Pick 'N Pay Food Mart at 615 Putnam Pike in Greenville sold the winning ticket.

He wasn't the only one to hit it big. A woman from Cumberland claimed a winning $22,500 Keno ticket.  She played a $5 wager and matched 7 out of 7 numbers.  She has actually never played the Lottery before. She and a friend were at Filibuster Club on 23 High Street in Cumberland.  Her friend usually plays Keno, but decided not to this night. Therefore, she opted to give it a try and won!  She's going to put the money in the bank and be smart with it.

Finally, Louis Wysocki of Providence played 4 0 6 2 on three tickets for last night's Daily Numbers drawing and ended up winning a total of $17,604. He wagered $.50 on a combination ticket and won $2,500 on the 4-digit straight and $104 for the 4-digit box. He also wagered $1 on a 4-digit straight to win $5,000 and $2 on a 4-digit straight to win $10,000. He too will use the money towards Christmas presents. All of his tickets were purchased at Harry's Variety at 562 Plainfield Street in Providence.
