Daily Numbers Winners Cash In

Two Daily Numbers players cashed in their winning tickets and took home a lot of cash just in time for Christmas.

A North Providence man won $10,416 playing numbers 2 2 9 4 in the December 17 drawing. He wagered $1 on two 4-digit straight tickets and another $1 on a 4-digit box. Mineral Spring Ave. Getty, 1879 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, sold the winning ticket.

He wasn't the only lucky Daily Numbers winner.  A woman from Cranston won $10,000 from the December 15 drawing, playing numbers 4 2 0 9, which was her old apartment number.  She also wagered $1 on two 4-digit straight tickets.  All of her Christmas shopping is done, so she plans to get a miniature Dachshund puppy for herself!

Convenience Plus, 1501 Atwood Ave., Johnston, sold the winning ticket.

The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
