$2,000,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Ticket Claimed

The winning $2 million PowerBall® PowerPlay® ticket sold in Rhode Island for last night's $50 million drawing has been claimed by a man from Wakefield. He checked the paper this morning for the winning numbers and started to scream when he saw his numbers matched five out of five.  His wife thought something had happened!  She was brought to tears as they handed in the winning ticket at the Rhode Island Lottery.

The winner indicated that he alternates opting to play PowerPlay® for an extra dollar. He was sure glad he did this time! His $1,000,000 prize increased to $2,000,000!

He purchased the winning PowerBall® PowerPlay® Quick Pick ticket at Commons Convenience Store, 49 South County Commons Way, South Kingstown.

Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $60 million.
