$2,000,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Winner in Rhode Island

As Rhode Island Lottery Headquarters anxiously awaits to meet the next Million Dollar Raffle Winner, a $2 million winning PowerBall® ticket was sold in Rhode Island for last night's $50 million PowerBall® drawing.

The ticket matched five numbers but not the PowerBall® number, for the standard payout of $1,000,000. However, the Power Play® feature was added for an extra dollar which increased the prize to $2,000,000. This is the second PowerBall® ticket sold in Rhode Island that has matched five out of five numbers since the game changed one year ago. The prize has yet to be claimed.

The winning PowerBall® PowerPlay® ticket was purchased at Commons Convenience Store, 49 South County Commons Way, South Kingstown.

Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $60 million.
