$23,370 Wild Money Jackpot Ticket Claimed
$10,000 Mega Millions Christmas Win

One of the $23,370 winning tickets from the split $46,740 Wild Money jackpot hit on January 3, was claimed by a gentleman from Pawtucket.  He plans on buying a new car.

The ticket was purchased at Gulf Express, 698 Broadway, Pawtucket.

The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.   Tomorrow's estimated jackpot is $22,000. 

Additionally, the $10,000 winning ticket from the Mega Millions® drawing on December 25, 2012, was claimed by August Cote Jr. of Richmond.  The ticket was a Christmas gift from his sister. It matched four numbers and the Mega Ball® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  If she had chosen to play the Megaplier® option for an additional $1, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4 to equal $40,000.

August's sister purchased the ticket at Cumberland Farms, 785 Tiogue Ave., Coventry. He definitely plans to give some money to his sister and put the rest towards bills.

Tomorrow's estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $47 million.
