$40,000 PowerBall® Power Play® Ticket Claimed - $2 Million PowerBall® Winner Still Missing

February 18, 2013

$40,000 PowerBall® Power Play® Ticket Claimed
$2 Million PowerBall® Winner Still Missing

The $40,000 winning PowerBall® Power Play® ticket sold in Rhode Island from the February 13 drawing has been claimed by a Cranston woman.

The winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000.  The winner said that she always chooses to play Power Play® for an extra dollar. She was glad she did as her $10,000 prize increased to $40,000. She purchased the winning ticket at ABC Gas on 1036 Reservoir Avenue in Cranston and has no plans as to how she'll spend her money.

The $2 million PowerBall® ticket from the February 6 drawing still remains unclaimed. AJ's Mini Market, 939 Social St., Woonsocket sold the winning ticket.

Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $70 million.
