$10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket Claimed

A woman from Providence purchased a PowerBall® Quick Pick for the February 2 drawing as a gift for her co-worker.  When her co-worker discovered that it was a $10,000 winning ticket, he or she re-gifted it back to her to keep! 

She humbly claimed the $10,000 prize this morning and plans to put a new roof on her house and also share some with her co-worker.

The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If she had, the $10,000 prize would have increased to $40,000. 
         
Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $80 million.
