$50,963 Wild Money Jackpot Ticket Claimed
$10,000 Multi Chance Keno & $10,000 PowerBall® Winners
The $50,963 Wild Money jackpot won on September 10 has been claimed by a gentleman from Warwick. He's still unsure about what he'll do with the money but mentioned some of it will go to his children. He purchased the winning ticket at Sunnybrook Farms, 1002 Main St., East Greenwich. The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.
Tonight's estimated Wild Money jackpot is $20,000.
Additionally, Robert Bringhurst of Middletown was thrilled when he hit 9 out of 10 numbers on his Multi Chance Keno Bonus Ticket for a $10,000 win! He wagered $1 and opted to play Multi Chance Keno for an extra $1 and the chance to win free games with higher payouts. Sure enough, he won a free game; and his numbers on the bonus ticket matched 9 out of 10 numbers. The normal payout for that is $4,500, but because he won on the bonus game, his prize was $10,000. Bringhurst was playing at Woodhookers Sports Tavern, 238 East Main Rd., Middletown, where he plays often. He plans to put the money towards retirement.
Finally, a winning $10,000 PowerBall® ticket was sold for last night's $248,300,000 jackpot drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Gulf Express, 711 East Ave., Pawtucket. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot has climbed to $317 million!
