$30,000 Instant Game & $10,842 Numbers Wins
A Cranston man, Michael Ruo, claimed a $30,000 prize on the five-dollar "Cherry Tripler" Instant Game. He said he'll use the money to pay bills and plans to donate some as well. Speedway, 473-479 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, sold the winning ticket.
A Chepachet man had some luck playing his grandfather's birthdate on the Numbers game. He played two $1 four-digit combo bets with the number 0 3 1 3 for the June 9 Evening Draw. He matched all four numbers in the exact order they were drawn to win $5,416 on each combo bet. He said he'd like to use his winnings to travel and maybe take his mother on vacation. Johnston Fine Wine & Spirits, 2951 Hartford Ave., Johnston, sold the winning tickets.
