$100,000 Powerball® Power Play® Ticket Claimed Today
Scott and Jayne Conforti of Cumberland just checked their Powerball® Power Play® ticket this morning, from the February 5th drawing, and discovered that they were holding onto a $100,000 winning ticket.
The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball® number to win $50,000. Since they also purchased the Power Play® feature for an additional $1, the prize was multiplied by 2, the Power Play® number, to equal $100,000. They purchased the lucky ticket at Cumberland Farms, 3400 Mendon Rd., Cumberland.
When asked how they will spend the winnings, Mrs. Conforti replied, "Already spent!"
Tonight's estimated Powerball® jackpot is $85 million.
