$30,000 & $10,000 Instant Ticket, $11,584 Numbers & $10,500 Keno Winners
A man from Cranston buys Rhode Island Lottery Instant Tickets just a few times a year. While at J & J Gasbarro Oaklawn Liquors, 985 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, the store clerk asked if he wanted one. So, he opted to buy the "Emerald Green 7s" Instant Ticket for his wife of 57 years and won $30,000! He said it will be entirely up to her how they spend the winnings!
There was another big Instant Ticket winner over the weekend; a Coventry woman won $10,000 playing the "Supreme Cash" Instant Game at Colbea, 79 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich. There are over $4 million in prizes remaining to be claimed in this game, including one $250,000 top prize. The Memorial Day weekend winning continued with a woman from Cranston who won a total of 11,584 playing The Numbers Game for the Midday Draw this past Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Wonderland Smoke Shop, 666 East Ave., Warwick. The winning numbers drawn were 7 0 3 4. She wagered $2 on one four-digit combo bet and won $10,416. She also wagered $2 on a three-digit combo and won an additional $1,168. She plans on giving her granddaughter some of her winnings for a new car.
Also over the weekend, Cherie Chaves of Hope won $10,500 playing Keno at The Trap, 195 Forge Rd., East Greenwich. She wagered $1 on an 8-spot game and matched 8 out of 8 numbers to win $10,500. The mother of five said she played her birthday numbers and some other random numbers.
