$51,033 Wild Money Jackpot Unclaimed
Cranston, RI (September 16, 2026) – Fred Medeiros of West Greenwich, or "Network Fred" as his friends call him, claimed a $100,000 Powerball Power Play prize for the September 5, 2026, drawing. He played a quick pick, and his ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball Number for the standard prize of $50,000. Because he added the Power Play feature for an additional dollar, that $50,000 prize was doubled to $100,000. Medeiros put it simply: "You don't win unless you play." He plans to use the winnings to pay bills and buy his wife a new convertible. The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway, 1820 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown.
In other Lottery news, a $51,033 Wild Money jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Buttonwoods One Stop, 192 Buttonwoods Ave., Warwick, for the September 12, 2026, drawing. The prize has not yet been claimed.
