Keno $35K Giveaway

Entry Guidelines:

1. Each Rhode Island Lottery Keno ticket purchased at a Rhode Island Lottery Retailer between Friday, April 23, 2021, through Sunday, May 23, 2021 will include a Second Chance Code for entry into the Keno $35K Giveaway Promotion. 
2. Keno wagers made online through the Rhode Island Lottery website and/or  mobile app will not be eligible.
3. Only the twenty-three (23)-character Second Chance Code found on the front of eligible Keno tickets will be accepted.
4. The number of entries a player will receive per Second Chance Code entered is dependent upon the dollar value of the Keno ticket; i.e. a two (2) dollar ticket will receive two entries.
5. There is an entry cap of five hundred (500) entries per day per player.  
6. Entries will be accepted from Friday, April 23, 2021, through Wednesday, May 26, 2021. No entries will be accepted after the final entry deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, for this Promotion.
7. Each Second Chance Code may be entered only one (1) time.
8. Only entries submitted online are eligible to win.  Entries received by any other method will be disqualified.
9. Only registered Rhode Island Lottery VIP Club and VIP+ members are eligible to enter this Promotion. VIP Club registration is free, and members must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age to join at https://www.rilot.com/en-us/registration.html.
10. All entries in a drawing have an equal chance of winning a prize.
11. Odds of winning any prize in any Second Chance Drawing will vary depending upon the number of entries received for the drawing.

Drawings, Prizes and Winners:

1. One (1) drawing will be held for eighty-six (86) winners to be drawn on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
2. The following prizes will be awarded in the drawing:

3. Limit of one (1) winner per household for the Promotion. 
4. All prize winners will be notified by email and/or telephone by the Rhode Island Lottery. Please be sure your VIP and VIP+ Club member account is updated with your latest contact information.
5. Winners of the one hundred dollars ($100) prize in iLottery Bonus Money will be credited directly to their VIP+ Club Purchase Power accounts automatically. VIP Club members will need to upgrade their account to a VIP Club+ Purchase Power account in order to access the iLottery Bonus Money prize.  Bonus Money must be played on Keno or eInstants online and cannot be withdrawn.
6. All prizes won, except the iLottery Bonus Money, must be claimed at Rhode Island Lottery Headquarters, 1425 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, by the claim deadline date indicated or the prize will be forfeited. Entry deadline, draw date, and claim deadline are posted below:

7. The drawing date is subject to change with adequate advance public notice.
8. In order to validate a win and claim the prize, winners of the five hundred dollars ($500) prize must provide a copy of a valid, government-issued photo I.D. and must complete and sign a Rhode Island Lottery claim form.
9. In order to validate a win and claim the prize, winners of the one thousand dollars ($1,000) and ten thousand dollars ($10,000) prizes must provide a copy of a valid, government-issued photo I.D. and must complete and sign a Lottery claim form and the IRS W-9 form or provide proof of his/her Social Security Number.  
10. Winners will be reviewed for debt owed to the State, as statutorily required. If a winner is identified as having an outstanding debt to a State Agency or child support collected through a court, the prize will go towards satisfying that debt.
11. The Rhode Island Lottery reserves the right to disqualify winners at the time of the draw and select alternate entries if necessary.
12. Regardless of whether a winner claims the prize, winners' names will be posted online through the Rhode Island Lottery's website and social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and any other source deemed necessary by the Rhode Island Lottery. 

General Terms & Conditions:

1. The Rhode Island Lottery makes no implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety, appearance or performance of any prize offered.
2. By participating in the Promotion, entrants hereby release and agree to hold harmless the Rhode Island Lottery, its directors, employees, officers and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize.
3. The Rhode Island Lottery, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability or for any other reason.  Additional restrictions and conditions specific to any particular prize will be disclosed to winner upon prize notification.
4. The Rhode Island Lottery reserves the right to publish winners' names, hometowns, photographs and/or videos for publicity purposes without any claim for broadcasting, internet, print, other rights or further compensation.
5. Each person participating in this Promotion agrees by the act of participation to be bound by these rules and procedures, statutes, administrative rules and procedures of the Rhode Island Lottery.
6. Rhode Island Lottery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion, and change these rules if the drawing cannot be conducted as planned due to errors in these rules or advertising, unauthorized intervention, tampering, fraud, technical errors, viruses, worms, bugs, or any other cause beyond the control of the Rhode Island Lottery that, in Rhode Island Lottery's sole judgement, could corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the drawings.
7. All entries shall be subject to verification by the Rhode Island Lottery.
8. Rhode Island Lottery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it deems or suspects to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion or the associated drawing or to be acting in violation of these rules and procedures, statutes, administrative rules and procedures of the Rhode Island Lottery.
9. Rhode Island Lottery is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries, or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, or any combination thereof.
10. Rhode Island Lottery is not responsible for any damage to any individual's computer or telephone system/software related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in this promotion.
11. Rhode Island Lottery employees, vendors, retailers, and anyone else deemed ineligible by the Rhode Island Lottery are prohibited from entering this promotion.
