The Rhode Island Lottery's daily Numbers game, which started in 1976, became the first Rhode Island Lottery game that allowed players to select their own numbers, hoping to match the randomly drawn numbered balls.
Beginning in 1994 through 2020, over 240 students majoring in Communications at local colleges and universities have gained valuable career experience by hosting the televised evening drawings of The Numbers.
Drawings
Midday Drawings take place daily at 1:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased up to 1:20 p.m. Midday drawings are not televised, but can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
Evening Drawings are aired on WPRI-TV 12 at 7:29 p.m. Weekend drawings can be viewed on MYRI and The CW Television Network. Evening Drawings will also be posted on our YouTube channel. Tickets can be purchased until 6:50 p.m. nightly.
