$30,000 St. Patrick’s Day Surprise
Keno Madness Begins Today at Lottery Retailers

RI Lottery winnerDiane Morra of Greenville, RI, scratched a $30,000 winning "Power 5X" Instant Game Monday night, a lucky start to her week – just in time for Saint Patrick's Day!

She said her legs started to shake and her knees turned to Jell-o and she needed a day to compose herself before coming into Lottery Headquarters to claim the prize. She purchased the winning ticket from Alltown Smithfield, 471 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Ms. Morra said she plans to go on a trip and do something fun with the unexpected win. 

Additionally, the Rhode Island Lottery's "Keno Madness" promotion begins today, and runs daily 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at all Lottery Retailers throughout the state. Anyone eighteen or older will receive a $1 free Keno ticket when they purchase $5 or a higher Keno ticket.  The promotion ends April 4, 2022.
