$50,000 SHOOTOUT RULES

  1. Each non-winning Rhode Island Lottery Keno Ticket purchased 12/31/15-2/14/16 constitutes one (1) Second Chance Drawing entry. The ticket number to be entered is the serial number found at the bottom of the ticket.
  2. A player may enter as many non-winning Keno Tickets that he or she has purchased between 12/31/15-2/14/16.
  3. The number from any ticket may be entered only one time.
  4. Only registered Rhode Island Lottery VIP's are eligible to enter this drawing.  VIP registration is free.
  5. Only entries submitted online are eligible to win.  Entries received by any other method will be disqualified.
  6. All entries in a drawing have an equal chance of winning a prize.
  7. Odds of winning any prize in any Second Chance Drawing will vary depending upon the number of entries received for the drawing.
  8. Three winners will be drawn in each drawing to receive a pair of tickets to attend the specified URI Men's Basketball Home Game.  At the game, one winner will be randomly selected to participate in the $50,000 Shootout.
  9. The three winners must attend the specified game to receive their prize. The prize is not transferable to anyone else.  Therefore, the winner selected to complete the $50,000 Shootout must be the person to make the attempt.
  10. Limit of one winner per household for this promotion. 
  11. The Rhode Island Lottery reserves the right to qualify winners at the time of the draw and select alternate entries if necessary.
  12. Entries submitted after the deadline for any drawing will be entered into the next subsequent drawing if applicable.
  13. Entries not selected as winners in any one drawing will be entered into the next scheduled drawing if applicable.
  14. Entries received after the final entry deadline will not be eligible for any Second Chance Drawing prizes for this promotion.
  15. All prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or email by the Rhode Island Lottery.
  16. The Second Chance Drawing prizes must be validated at the specified URI Men's Basketball game. Winners will be contacted by e-mail and/or telephone within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing date.  If immediate contact is not made, the Lottery will document the date and time of e-mail message sent and/or telephone message.  You must contact the Lottery either by e-mail or telephone within one (1) business day of the initial contact made by the Lottery to confirm notification; or you will be disqualified; and an alternate winner drawn. To validate your win, you must present your government-issued photo ID and the non-winning Keno ticket you entered online to Lottery staff at the specified URI game. Once all three winners have checked into the game, a drawing will be conducted to determine who will participate in the $50,000 Shootout. 
  17. Players must retain their non-winning ticket entries as proof of eligibility and provide the original ticket to claim their prize should they be selected as a winner.
  18. Winners' names and hometowns will be posted on the Rhode Island Lottery $50,000 Shootout Rhody Replay website once all winners have been contacted after each drawing.
  19. All drawing dates are subject to change with adequate advance public notice.
  20. The Rhode Island Lottery is not responsible in the event for any reason the games are not played.

The following classes of people shall be ineligible to participate:

a) Current or former professional or semi-professional basketball players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world.
b) Current or former collegiate or junior-collegiate basketball players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
c) Current or former collegiate club basketball players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
d) Current or former high school basketball players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
e) Current or former Olympic basketball players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
f) Any person actively participating in the sporting event/tournament associated with this promotion.
g) Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors, or assignees of the client or any promotional agency involved with this promotion.
